Act one: (Agent): Good manuscript, but the (redacted) chapters must go.
Act two: (Acquisition editor): Good first half but the second part is overly complex. Rewrite the second part and I’ll think about it.
Act three: (Editor): Good, but sorry, the second part lacks meat. Perhaps expand the *(redacted) chapters.
